Some of the most meaningful stories unfold far from home - and I'm always ready to follow yours wherever it leads. Whether you're planning an intimate mountaintop elopement or a coastal celebration abroad, I offer a special rate for destination weddings.
You'll receive a discount on your chosen collection (or depending on the location it could be waived), and simply cover my travel expenses (flight, stay, and local transport). I keep travel costs clear and easy, so you can stay focused on your experience - not the logistics.

I'm so excited you're here. Choosing a photographer is personal, and my goal is to help you quickly see if we're a great fit.
I love cozy mornings with my cat, Bella - she's my baby. I'm all about iced coffee, playlists, sweet treats, and a mix of black & white and color photos. Text over call, indoor vibes with outdoor adventures sprinkled in.
I've been photographing weddings since 2014, and I fell in love instantly. After my first wedding, I knew this was where I belonged. I'm drawn to real emotion, honest moments, and documenting love the way it truly feels.

FAQ's
Do your prices include tax?
There is no tax on top of my prices. What you see on the investment page is the total.
Does it cost to have you travel?
If your wedding is over a one hour drive from Kelowna, BC, then yes, I do charge travel fees. Please know that I will do my best to keep these costs as low as possible for you.
How do you accept payment?
E-transfer to: sheilahbattersby@hotmail.com, CASH or Credit Card.
Do you accept payment plans?
I do accept payment plans, but require a 40% retainer before the wedding. Just let me know and we can figure something out that works best for you!
Do we need a second photographer?
If your wedding is larger then 100 guests and you are wanting all day coverage, I do recommend having a second photographer. This is complimentary with my top two packages! It provides you with different angles through out the day.
Can we order prints or albums directly from you?
Yes! I am able to offer prints, albums, canvas and framed prints! You will find this option when you open your online gallery and you can order from there.
Do we have to provide you with dinner?
No, this is not expected but appreciated if you do offer! I always bring snacks if dinner isn't provided. So don't feel bad if you don't feed me. I usually just take a few minutes to eat while the bridal party eats, then it's back to shooting!
How many color and black & white photos will I receive?
Your whole gallery will include color photos. However, if you are a person who loves black & white pictures as much as me, don't worry! Over half of your photos are duplicated and made black & white.
Once you're bookeD
Here's what happens next - simple and stress-free:
1. Signed + Celebrated
We lock in your date with a contract and a 40% retainer. (Payment plans available.) Then we celebrate - wine highly encouraged.
2. Your Wedding Guide
I send you a client guide with timeline tips, vendor recs, and everything you'll need. Getting married elsewhere? I'll send local recommendations too.
3. Engagement Session
We choose a location, plan outfits, and create the vibe you want - fun, relaxed, intentional.
4. Pre-Wedding Questionnaire
One month out, you'll fill out an easy questionnaire with final details so your day runs smoothly.
5. Wedding Day!
I show up early (with Starbucks if possible!) I'll guide you when needed and blend in when the magic happens - calm, natural, un-rushed.
6. Sneak Peeks
24-48 hours later, I send sneak peeks so you can relive the day ASAP.
7. Final Gallery
Your full gallery is delivered in 4-6 weeks - ready to download, share, and cry happy tears over.

In order to secure your date, I require a signed contract and a non-refundable 40% retainer. The remainder 60% is due 3 weeks before your wedding date. Payment plans are possible, just let me know if this is something you would like to do.
