But is it right for you? Let's go over some reasons why you may find elopement the best choice.

If you are anything like me, I don't like being the center of attention. This is one reason why my husband and I only had 20 people at our wedding! Eloping can solve this problem because you don't have to have anybody else there if you don't want to. Or you can keep the guest list down to your closest friends and family. It's all about you and your special person. This day should be focused on what you both really find important. If that means no extra people, then that's ok! Let the adventure begin!
Easy planning
Do you find planning or making decisions stressful? Eloping may be for you! Elopements can be much simpler to plan because there is less to worry about.
All you have to do is:
- check the law (depending on where you get married, there may be different requirements)
- plan the location
- choose your vendors (photographer, flowers, dress, marriage officiant)
- plan your vows or how you would like your ceremony
- plan an optional post elopement party!
